Class A Driver / Yard Hostler | 100% Home Daily

Phoenix Retail Fleet | Pure Hourly Pay ($23.00–$24.50/Hr) + Overtime & Daily Home Time

Looking for a reliable local driving role with steady hourly pay, zero mileage games, and guaranteed daily home time? We are hiring a dedicated solo Class A CDL driver for a major retail yard operation in Phoenix, AZ. Pay & Financial Package

• Starting Base Rate: $23.00 to $24.50 per hour (Pure hourly pay based on experience)
• Overtime Pay: Time-and-a-half (1.5x) paid for all hours worked over 40 in a week
• Weekly Earnings Average: $1,200 gross per week (Driven by a standard 40-hour base schedule plus ~5–10 hours of weekly overtime)
• Annual Earning Potential: ~$62,400+ per year
• (Please Note: This is a pure hourly role, no CPM, no stop pay, and no load/unload pay)

The Work & Physical Demands

• Home Time: 100% Home Daily,  finish your daily shift and head straight home
• Core Role: Active yard hostling/spotting (moving trailers around the retail distribution yard) and local shuttling
• Freight Handling: 100% No-Touch Cargo (Store/warehouse staff handles all freight inside trailers; you handle trailer positioning, landing gear, and air lines)
• Work Environment: Active, physically demanding yard position working outdoors continuously in Phoenix heat and cold weather elements

Shift & Schedule Expectations

• Shift Availability: Day Shifts and Night Shifts available
• Weekly Cadence: 40-hour weekly base schedule running 7 days a week; weekend work is standard/required
• Holidays: Christmas Day is guaranteed OFF for this operation

Qualifications & Hiring Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card (No special endorsements required)
• Hiring Boundary: Must reside within 50 miles of Phoenix, AZ (Zip Code: 85043)
• Experience Requirements (Experienced Solo Drivers Only):
  • Designated for First-Seat Experienced Solo Drivers
  • Verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer or yard hostling experience required
  • (Please Note: Trainees, team operations, and owner-operators are closed on this fleet)
• Background & Safety: Clean driving record, solid work history, and mandatory pre-employment drug screening
