Physician - Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

SCHEDULE: 
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am to 5:00pm
- No On-Call
- No Evenings
- No Holidays
- Some Weekends w/ Flex Time Off

- $240,000 to $300,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

Founded in 2019, this organization is dedicated to the medically-underserved Asian community in the greater New York City metro area, with a mission to provide value-based, high-quality care that addresses cultural and linguistic.  They boast 200+ providers operating out of more than 100 clinics and representing over 20 medical specialties and subspecialties, conducting more than 1 million patient visits each year.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
The primary care physician will see a variable number of patients per day, depending upon the types of appointments scheduled.  All visits are supported by dedicated clinical assistants.

All work is standard outpatient primary care and the practice can accommodate a family practice or internal medicine patient panel.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- annual wellness exams
- diagnose and treat acute illnesses
- diagnose and treat chronic diseases and conditions
- prescribe and/or administer medication, therapy, and other care as needed
- explain procedures and discuss test results / prescribed treatments with patients
- monitor conditions and progress, re-evaluating treatments as necessary
- provide health and wellness advice (diet, physical activity, disease prevention, etc.)
- refer patients to medical specialists when necessary
- participate in practice activities such as provider meetings and training sessions

The practice uses the MDLand EHR.

The physician will work with a majority Chinese-speaking patient population and must be fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.

REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified / Eligible, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- must speak Mandarin or Cantonese fluently
