IMMEDIATELY HIRING

Join our team as a Shipper, where you will handle shipping tasks, utilize forklifts, and ensure products are securely packaged and shipped accurately. This is a FULL TIME and LONG TERM job opportunity, looking for reliable employees that have prior experience working with Metals and Measuring , working in a warehouse, picking and packing customer orders, and filling orders in a timely manner. We do offer WEEKLY PAY and COMPANY BENEFITS.

Hours: 1st Shift 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay: $18

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load steel plates onto trucks for shipping.
• Follow customer orders and complete necessary shipping paperwork.
• Palletize products and transport them throughout the shipping department.
• Measure steel plates prior to shipping and grind and deburr imperfections.
• Package products in correctly sized boxes or containers.

Essential Skills

• MUST HAVE MEASURING experience
• 1+ years of forklift (sit down) experience.
• Experience in shipping, specifically following customer orders.
• Ability to read and measure using a tape measure up to 1/32 and measuring tools.
• Proficient in converting fractions to decimals and vice versa.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
